Caravan Valuation

Section 1 - Select the type of valuation you require

Selling your caravan to a trade buyer can remove all the stress from trying to sell it privately, when you reach the decision to stop caravanning. The price offered will be a trade valuation. This is lower than a dealer forecourt price as the caravan is sold as seen, with any inherent faults and defects, without any warranty or comeback on the seller.

Our part exchange valuation is a guide to what you can expect your caravan to be worth when trading it in with a dealer for a newer caravan. Valuations can depend upon whether you are looking to buy a brand new caravan or a used model as the profit margin will be different. We provide a ‘central’ guide price that is always open to negotiation with a dealer.

If you are looking to sell your caravan yourself, it must be priced correctly for it to sell. Your caravan will not come with the pre-sale checks, possible finance facilities and warranty that a dealer would offer. The basic rule is the fact that the more expensive a caravan is, the more likely that a buyer would want to buy with guarentees that a dealer provides.

Dealer forecourt prices can very across the country due to stock levels and market conditions. But it is always good to check what a caravan is worth before purchashing to ensure that you are getting a fair deal. A dealer forecourt price will be priced to included pre-purchase checks, a warranty and as expected, a profit to cover their business expenses.
